About Restored Door

I’ve got decades of experience in the cleaning, restoring, and maintenance of coatings and metals and I’ve brought it to the iron door industry. I bought every available product from the grocery and hardware stores, nothing worked for more than a few hours. I had to create my own. I developed a recipe & process, and have a patent pending. I’ve used this in the successful restoration of iron doors for 3 years of commerce for hundreds of more than satisfied clients. Our process begins with a dusting, followed by a deep cleaning and sponge bath. This is where we become familiar with the character of your door(s). We often find the remnants of past attempts of ‘fixing’ the doors appearance. We then use our proprietary formula to further clean and remove oxidation. We finish with an oil polish. Upon completion, your door will have a shiny appearance. This is the high viscosity oil that hasn’t been absorbed or otherwise dissipated. The door will keep this wet look for about a week (temperature dependent). After about a week, your door will resolve to a rich, vivid, and crisp appearance. We offer a three year prorated warranty. We have worked on doors from dozens of manufacturers and a vast number of finishes and colors. When you send us a picture of your door(s) we will respond with a before and after picture of doors like yours to show you what to expect. Our work is satisfaction guaranteed. Nobody else does true restoration in the method that we have developed, or with our patented formula. Prices range from $395 for a small single door to $895 for larger double doors. We utilize standardized pricing are 100% transparent and upfront with pricing. Our time to restore your doors ranges from 3-5 hours, generally. Sidelights, transoms and additional iron work are al a carte.
